How do I schedule a session?

The best way to get started is filling out the Contact form linked at the top of this page. I'll respond to your contact form within 1 week with info about my current availability and any questions I may have. From there we'll talk about your ideas, pick a day & time, and make a plan!

For Weddings, it's usually helpful to get to know each other a bit more before booking. If I shoot your wedding we'll be hanging out together basically all day. I always want to make sure we're the right fit and give you a chance to ask any and all questions you may have! We can do this by phone, email, video, or in person if you're local to the Columbia, MO area.

All sessions require a non-refundable deposit & signed contract to hold your date. Your deposit will be applied towards your final balance.

The non-refundable deposit for portrait sessions is $50. Final payments are due the day of your session.

For weddings and events, a deposit is equal to 25% of the total package cost. Final payments for weddings and events are due 30 days prior to the event date.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm based out of Columbia, MO.
Travel within 30 miles is included in all portrait sessions, and travel up to 150 miles is included in all Wedding packages.

I love checking out new places and venues, and am happy to travel outside of the included travel range for a small additional fee customized to your location.

How many photos will we receive?

My priority is always quality over quantity. However, each session type has a minimum number of images that will be returned to you. This will be confirmed at the time of booking. For an average hour long session this is usually 35+.

All galleries are delivered digitally and include high resolution downloads and print release for personal use.

When will we get our photos?

I am already excited to share your images about 4 seconds after I walk away from our session. To satisfy my impulsive nature, usually within 48 hours I will share 2-5 sneak peaks either by posting on social media or sending to you directly.

For Portrait Sessions, you'll receive the link to your completed digital gallery within 3 weeks.

For weddings, completed galleries will be sent within 8 weeks.

Will you edit my ___?

It depends! All delivered images are carefully edited and retouched.

I generally follow a '2 Week Rule'. If it's something that won't be there in two weeks, it won't be in your photos! This includes any obvious pimples, bruises, scrapes, and that random dirt smudge from rolling around earlier in the session. I'll also do my best to remove anything that wasn't meant to be in the photo, within reason, like forgotten water bottles in the background.

But, I don't think there's anything wrong with you! So, it's gonna be a hard no on changing anything to do with the size or shape of your body or face.

I also typically will not heavily edit your clothing, so if wrinkles are going to bug you...get that iron out!

Can I bring my dog?

Yes. Always yes. Please god yes. I want to meet every dog.

Please do let me know ahead of time though, so I can plan to have an assistant if needed and make sure our location is pet friendly.

Do you offer payment plans?

I do!

I recognize that professional photography is a luxury, but also believe everybody deserves the chance to document their lives beautifully. I want to do anything I can to make my services as accessible as possible.
